When tenders pile up, your estimator is on leave or the business is growing, you can outsource the estimating to us. You order each job online and pay for that job only. We check every estimate before it goes back to you.
What we take on
Tender estimates, budget estimates and full bills of quantities go through our estimate form, priced per job on the fees below. Single trades go through the form too, from $199 + GST. Production estimating and master bills of quantities for your standard designs aren't ordered on the form.
Ordering a job
Upload the plans, answer the questions for that building type and pay by card. If you're building for a client, give their name on the form and the estimate is addressed to them. It's emailed to you as a PDF within 48 hours (two business days). With Both documents you get a summary for your client and the itemised detail. Production estimating and master bills
For builders with standard designs, we can prepare a master bill of quantities for each design in our specialised estimating program. New jobs and variations on that design are priced off the master. We can also prepare production estimates and purchasing information off your contracts and drawings. Call us on 0421 307 603 to talk it through.
Who prices your jobs
We price every job in our specialised estimating program against our own rate library of approximately 6,000 items. We've been building in Melbourne since 2005. Our estimator checks each estimate before it's released and flags anything your plans don't show for you to confirm.
Your plans stay confidential
Your plans and project information are kept confidential under our estimating terms and used only to prepare your estimate.
Most builders start with Residential Estimating or a Bill of Quantities.

- All fees are plus GST.
- The estimate form shows the exact fee before you pay.
- Dual occupancy fees cover one new dwelling. A second new dwelling is $199 more.
- Multi unit fees cover three units, then $299 for each unit over three.
- Apartment fees cover four levels. Five to eight levels is $499 more, nine to twelve $799, thirteen or more $999.

Questions about Outsourced Estimating
Can I outsource the estimating on a single job?
Yes, you order and pay per job on our estimate form. There's nothing to sign up to and no minimum number of jobs. Upload the plans, answer the questions for that building type and pay online by card.
How much does outsourced estimating cost?
A standard estimate starts at $399 + GST on a single storey home. Every fee for each building type and product is in the table on this page. The form shows your exact fee before you pay.
How quickly do you turn jobs around?
Within 48 hours (two business days) once you've paid and uploaded the plans. Business days run Monday to Friday and don't count Victorian public holidays. If a large unit, apartment or commercial job needs longer, we'll let you know and give you a new date.
Can the estimate be addressed to my client?
Yes, give your client's name on the form and the estimate is addressed to them. Choose Both documents for a summary you can hand your client and the itemised detail for you.
Can I send you work on an ongoing basis?
Yes, order each job on the form as it comes in, priced and paid for on its own. Production estimating and master bills of quantities for your standard designs aren't on the form. Call us on 0421 307 603 about those.
Do you work for builders outside Victoria?
Yes, we estimate jobs anywhere in Australia off the plans you upload. Every estimate is priced based on the job's location. If the job is in Melbourne or Sydney, it uses that state's price list.
Do you keep our plans confidential?
Yes, your plans and project information are kept confidential under our estimating terms and used only to prepare your estimate. They're shared only with the people and service providers who need them to do the work.
What happens if the drawings change?
A new drawing revision can be a variation to the estimate. We'll tell you what it changes in the fee and the turnaround and wait for your written okay before we go ahead. Minor clarifications on the same drawings within 10 business days of delivery are covered by the fee.
